FUEL ECONOMY
The overspending of fuel in europe by incorrect tire pressure is more than 3 billion liters per year, it is estimated that a reduced tire pressure of more than 0.5 bar will result in increase of fuel consumption of up to 20%.
When changing the vehicle load, manufacturer recommends to adjust the tire pressure, for optimal performance. The specified pressure differentiate according to the load and road conditions, but it may vary from about 0.5 bar for passenger cars to about 2.0 bar for trucks.
For agricultural machines with proper tire pressure management, tire grip improves and overall slip control is better, which result in a reduced fuel consumption on different surfaces and increasing machines pulling power.
